FAELA
"Latin Animal Beats”
FAELA is a multinational group of musicians based in the city of Malmo in the south of Sweden. Their music is a ruthless mixture of Latin musical genres, Cumbia, Rumba, Samba, Salsa and Forró, combined with Rock and Jazz.
The six musicians, with roots in Argentina, England, Chile and Spain, bring their individual artistic and musical backgrounds to the cultural melting pot that is FAELA and create a unique sound and wild live performance so irresistible you cannot help but dance.
Since their inception in 2007 FAELA have played over 1000 festival and club shows all over Europe and South America including Montreux Jazz Festival, Volxfest Bolzano, Fusion Festival, Varangerfestivalen, Pflasterspektakel Linz, Buskers Bern, Artisti In Piazza, and Di Strada A Strada.
The release of their latest album, "Latin Animal Beats” brings with it a powerful blend of Latin rhythms, poetic lyrics, formidable musical prowess and dance beats that are sure to get the joint jumping. An assured addition to FAELA’s previous four albums Faela (2011), Camina (2011), Conmigo (2013) and Por El Mundo (2016).
“Faela, a band from all over, take a pan-Latin approach with a jumping, twisting and altogether jamming single” La Mia
